Precious Moment

You may have already seen this layout.  I just had to repost.  I love this photo of my daughter. She was just a few hours old.  I wish I had taken more photos when she was a baby.

Definitely going to have a white Christmas! Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas everyone!!  Just thought I would share another snow photo.
Our Christmas tradition is to open all the gifts from family on Christmas Eve.  We impatiently wait until it gets dark and the madness begins.  Christmas morning we wake up to find what Santa left and watch A Christmas Story in our pajamas all day.

Caramels

This weekend I was able to get my Christmas cards mailed, some shopping done, wrapped some gifts, and even made caramels.  I was able to get perfect caramels despite the fact I had no running water and my candy thermometer's battery had died.  I ended up using a meat thermometer which only registered temp up to 228 degrees.  I was pretty nervous I was going to have to start over from scratch, but they ended up being just right.

Another Gift Card Bag

Gift cards seem like such impersonal gifts, so this year I decided to make them a little more special and make my own gift bags to put them in.  I used the Cricut Plantin Cart to make the bag and I added some embellishments.

Snowman Gift Bag

This gift bag that I made with my Cricut is the perfect size for a gift card.  I love having lots of wrapped/bagged gifts under the tree.  This will be the first one to go under the tree this year.  I have a very large tree this year, so I better get to buying and wrapping if I am going to fill up the space beneath the tree!
